lobster lo Mein

Enjoy a delightful blend of tender lobster, crisp vegetables, and savory noodles in a luscious sauce of soy, oyster, and hoisin sauces, accented with ginger, garlic, honey, and sesame oil. Quick and easy to prepare, this Lobster Lo Mein promises a flavorful culinary experience.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles (or any noodles of your choice)

  • 2 lobster meat

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced

  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup sugar snap peas, trimmed

  • 1 carrot, julienned

  • 4 green onions (sliced)

  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce

  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey or brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.

  3. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a skillet. Cook lobster meat, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  4. Heat remaining oil in the skillet. Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add bell pepper, sugar snap peas, carrot, and white parts of green onions. Stir-fry until tender-crisp.

  5. Add cooked noodles and sauce to the skillet. Toss to combine and heat through.

  6. Return lobster to the skillet. Toss gently to combine.

  7. Season with salt and pepper. Serve garnished with green onions and cilantro or parsley.
